We will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and regulations, Terms of Use, guidelines of authorized personal information protection organizations, and this Personal Information Protection Policy.

With regard to safety control measures for personal information, etc., we have established separate “Personal Information Protection Regulations” and “Regulations for Handling Specified Personal Information,” etc., and have taken sufficient measures to ensure proper handling of such information.

When a customer applies to open an account, we obtain the customer’s name, address, date of birth, gender, telephone number, e-mail address, occupation, financial assets, annual income, place of employment, investment experience, and other information. After opening an account, we will also obtain information such as the customer’s change of address and other information. We also obtain other information provided directly by customers in the form of written documents or e-mails, as well as information provided by customers when applying for seminars.

We will not provide personal numbers to third parties with or without the consent of the individual, except as required by law. Also, we will not provide customer information to third parties except with the consent of the customer. However, we may provide customer information to a third party without the customer’s consent in the following cases

3 When it is especially necessary to improve public health or to promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer
4 Cases in which the handling of personal information is necessary for cooperating with a state institution, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a state institution or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and in which obtaining the consent of the customer is likely to impede the execution of the affairs concerned.

In addition, when necessary to send account opening materials, etc. to customers or to provide products and services, we may outsource the work to a company that we deem reliable. We will take the utmost care to prevent leakage or re-provision of personal information under strict control of the contractor.
